About the Role:
Responsibilities Of Medical Communications Content Strategy team include shaping and executing medical resource plans that support Neurocrine’s approved and clinical pipeline programs. This involves developing scientific communication narratives in collaboration with broad cross-functional partners.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
Develops medical resources and tools such as tailored slide decks, digital assets, and payer engagement materials, ensuring all content is scientifically accurate, compliant, and successfully navigates the Medical Review Committee (MRC) review and approval process
Experience understanding payer needs and business strategy to develop resources for the Managed Care Field team to communicate product(s) information to payers
Serves and support the lead in interfacing with broad Medical Affairs Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) for content development by translating complex data sets into field usable resources and training
Research and respond to Level 2 Medical Information (MI) request escalations using various search and retrieval techniques to develop a medical/scientific response that is accurate, fair balanced, and delivered in a timely manner
Serve as an expert Medical resource to internal stakeholders, including MI call center
Identify, procure and interpret the findings of emerging scientific literature relevant to the Company development programs
Work cross-functionally within Medical Affairs to ensure seamless interface between systems including the Scientific Library, MSL customer relationship management tool and MI databases
Work with the Medical Communications team to help manage the staffing and operations of the Medical Affairs booth at scientific conferences/congresses attended by the Company
Work with the Medical Communications team to help manage and plan projects with broad organizational participation including: publications, Advisory Boards and Steering Committee meetings

Requirements:
PharmD or PhD in scientific or related field required and 2+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in a Medical Communications related position, including publication/medical writing experience is required OR
MD preferred and some experience as noted above
Proven ability to perform in-depth literature research, analysis and interpretation of medical data
Proven ability to assemble evaluated information into an accurate, comprehensive and concise standard medical response document or dossier
Knowledge of all legal and regulatory guidelines affecting the dissemination of medical information and product promotion
A key contributor serving as an expert scientific resource for the broader organization with a diverse set of responsibilities within publication planning and independent medical education
Has knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines
Works to improve tools and processes within functional area
Developing reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertise
Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams
Excellent computer skills (especially PowerPoint)
Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisions
Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication skill
Strong leadership, accountability, interpersonal and organizational skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $128,200.00-$185,900.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
