Medical Courier/Independent Contractor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner-Operator Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages using their own reliable vehicle, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the process. This role requires a motivated individual with experience in route driving and warehouse operations. The Courier will play a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation for prompt and efficient delivery services.

Duties

• Safely operate personal vehicle to deliver packages across designated routes.
• Load and unload items from your vehicle using manual handling or equipment as needed.
• Manage route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules and maximize fuel economy.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness when not on the road.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain personal vehicle in good working condition and ensure it meets all safety standards.
• Follow all safety protocols, including heavy lifting techniques and proper equipment usage.

Requirements

• Must provide a reliable personal vehicle suitable for package delivery.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and proof of valid commercial auto insurance.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with strong route driving knowledge.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
• Warehouse experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving and manual handling tasks.
