Responsible for coordinating and maintaining the company’s credentialing databases to ensure timely payer and facility credentialing initial and reappointment application process. (this will be a remote position)
Duties/Responsibilities Inventory and update providers’ credentialing documents Submission and follow-up of initial and reappointment applications Communicate with providers to resolve pending items Collaborate with compliance regarding provider exclusion verification and updates Escalate to supervisor unresolved items needing further review
Required Skills/Abilities Operational knowledge of CAQH, PECOS, DEA, and State medical licensing board Ability to accurately complete and submit initial and reappointment application Ability to learn and utilize the credentialing software application Reliable and able to manage confidential information Attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications Education /Experience High School Diploma or GED Five years of physician practice credentialing experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
