Medical Data Analyst

We are looking for motivated, hardworking, friendly individuals for a very busy medical practice. We have an open position for an assistant in our research department. Candidates must be comfortable learning new things and being able to apply them. This job requires the ability to research, review, and analyze data presented. Good typing skills are recommended and some transcription may be required. Some background in healthcare or scientific analysis would be an added plus but is not a requirement. The availability requirement is at least 25 hours per week. Normal business hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday, however, some nights and weekends may be required. Customer service is our number one priority. Students: please submit a current class schedule with your application. Candidates must be willing to commit to the position for at least 18 months.

Job Duties:

• Compile, analyze and research medical data
• Cross-training and working on the clinical side of the practice as needed

Required Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
• Typing (60+ WPM preferred)
• Multitasking
• Organization
• Data analysis
• Proofreading/Editing
• Attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
