Role Overview

2050 Healthcare is looking for an experienced Medical Director to lead clinical governance and medical operations at its Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will bring strong critical care expertise to manage medically complex rehab patients, ensure continuity of care, and drive high clinical standards across rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall medical leadership for the rehabilitation center
• Oversee care of patients transitioning from ICU/acute care to rehabilitation (neurological, post-surgical, respiratory, trauma, long-term critical illness, etc.)
• Establish and monitor clinical protocols for rehab, step-down care, and chronic critical care
• Ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and compliance with medical and regulatory standards
• Lead and mentor physicians, therapists, nurses, and multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Coordinate with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychology, and nursing teams
• Review complex medical cases and manage clinical risk
• Ensure documentation, audits, and adherence to NABH/rehab care standards
• Act as the primary medical authority for clinical decision-making and escalation

Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Critical Care Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Pulmonology, or related ICU specialty
• 10–15 years of post-qualification experience, including ICU and high-dependency care
• Experience handling long-stay, ventilator-dependent, or medically complex patients preferred
• Prior leadership, medical administration, or center-head experience is an advantage

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be an ICU / Critical Care Doctor
• Must be currently based in Bangalore
• Experience in step-down care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care will be highly preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
