You’ll set clinical direction, ensure regulatory compliance, implement best-practice care pathways, and partner with operational leaders to deliver exceptional outcomes and patient experience.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement programs.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and care pathways aligned with international standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance oversight for medical staff and department heads.
  • Lead credentialing, privileging, and physician recruitment efforts to build high-caliber teams.
  • Collaborate with nursing, operations, and administration on capacity planning, resource allocation, and clinical service expansion.
  • Drive clinical audits, peer review, morbidity & mortality reviews, and CME programs.
  • Represent clinical interests to regulators, accreditation bodies, and external partners; ensure compliance with Qatari healthcare regulations.
  • Guide implementation of digital health, EMR optimization, and clinical analytics to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS/MD) plus relevant specialist qualifications.
  • Minimum 6 years clinical experience with at least 3–5 years in senior clinical leadership (medical director, chief of staff, head of department).
  • Proven experience with hospital operations, clinical governance, quality & safety, and physician management.
  • Familiarity with accreditation standards (JCI/CBAHI/SNHS) and Qatari healthcare regulations preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in Qatar (or ability to obtain licensure).
  • Advanced degree (MBA/MPH) or postgraduate training in healthcare management is a plus.

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary: ~70,000 QAR per month (negotiable based on experience).
  • Performance-based bonus, housing allowance or accommodation support, comprehensive medical insurance, annual leave, relocation assistance, and support for licensing/continuing education.

Pay: QAR60,000.00 - QAR70,000.00 per month
