Job Purpose
To lead and oversee all clinical operations of the medical center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective management of medical staff and services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Clinical Leadership & Oversight
- Provide strategic direction for all clinical services within the medical center
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes
- Supervise and support physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals
- Establish and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, and best practices
2. Regulatory Compliance (Qatar Focus)
- Ensure full compliance with Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) regulations and standards
- Oversee facility licensing, accreditation, and audit readiness
- Act as the primary point of contact for clinical inspections and regulatory bodies
- Ensure all medical staff maintain valid licenses and credentials
3. Quality Assurance & Patient Safety
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient care and service delivery
- Investigate clinical incidents and implement corrective actions
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety
4. Staff Management & Development
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and evaluation of medical staff
- Provide clinical guidance, mentoring, and performance management
- Ensure proper scheduling and adequate staffing coverage across departments
5. Operational Collaboration
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and Administration to ensure smooth operations
- Support budgeting, resource planning, and cost control related to clinical services
- Align clinical operations with business objectives and patient satisfaction goals
6. Patient Experience
- Ensure high standards of patient care and satisfaction
- Address patient complaints related to clinical services
- Promote ethical medical practices and professionalism
Authority & Accountability
- Authorized to oversee all clinical decisions and medical practices within the facility
- Recommends hiring, disciplinary actions, and termination of medical staff (subject to management approval)
- Ensures compliance with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Valid license from Qatar MOPH (QCHP)
- Minimum 8–10 years of clinical experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in a medical center or hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the GCC, preferably Qatar
- Experience handling MOPH inspections and audits
- Arabic language is an advantage
