About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Physician (MD or DO) to perform physical disability evaluations on a per diem or part-time basis. This position is ideal for a medical professional seeking flexible hours and a low-stress clinical environment. The role involves conducting thorough medical assessments, reviewing documentation, and completing disability determination reports — no ongoing patient care or prescribing required.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations to evaluate functional impairments related to disability claims
• Review and interpret relevant medical records and supporting documentation
• Complete structured medical evaluation reports within a specified timeframe
• Provide expert opinions based on clinical findings
• Collaborate with case managers, claims examiners, or legal teams as needed
• Maintain compliance with all applicable medical and legal standards

Qualifications:

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted state medical license (multiple state licenses a plus)
• Experience in disability evaluations, physical medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)

Schedule & Flexibility:

• Flexible scheduling (weekday and/or weekend availability)
• Shifts range from 4–8 hours
