Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a strong clinical background and a passion for wound care and patient well-being. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, providing wound care management and related services in a mobile setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and treatments for acute and chronic wounds.
• Develop and manage individualized wound care treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR.
• Provide patient and caregiver education on wound prevention and management.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Virginia medical license.
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Prior experience in Wound Care, Home Health, or Geriatric Care preferred but not required — training will be provided.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.

Schedule & Compensation

• Flexible Scheduling: Full-Time or Part-Time (2–5 days per week).
• Work typically ends by 5:00 PM, with no after-hours charting.
• Compensation: Competitive and based on market rates and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $150,000.00 per year
