Job Summary

DJS Global Trading Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Equipment Buyer to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and procurement of medical equipment and healthcare supplies. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards and timely delivery to support healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase medical equipment, devices, and healthcare supplies from approved vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance, product quality, and market trends.
• Coordinate with healthcare facilities and internal departments to identify purchasing needs.
• Ensure all procured equipment complies with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Prepare purchase orders, invoices, and procurement reports.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Track shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control for procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in medical equipment purchasing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of medical devices and healthcare supply markets.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement management software.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of Qatar healthcare and import regulations is an advantage.
