Medical Equipment Engineer -UPDA Grade A

As a Medical Equipment Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, functionality, and safety of medical equipment used in healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will revolve around assessing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading various types of medical equipment to optimize patient care and support medical staff in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of medical equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and operational efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous functionality. This may involve diagnosing issues, replacing parts, and calibrating equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and healthcare professionals to recommend and implement equipment upgrades or new installations to enhance performance and meet evolving healthcare needs.
• Provide training and technical support to medical staff on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment to promote efficient and safe operation.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Generate reports on equipment status, performance metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that medical equipment meets industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare technology management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• proven knowledge and outstanding experience regarding:
•  Hospital Mortuaries in the Middle East Medical equipment expert
• 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of medical equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO standards).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach to documentation and record-keeping.
