Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough consultations to assess clients’ skin types, concerns, and treatment goals, recommending suitable services and products.
• Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, laser therapy, body waxing, hair threading, eyelash extensions, and hair styling.
• Manage pre- and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
• Maintain strict sanitation and safety protocols in accordance with industry standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Utilize salon software such as Millennium or MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and process transactions efficiently.
• Engage clients through social media management by sharing before-and-after photos, promoting services, and building an active online presence.
• Upsell retail products and additional treatments to enhance client results while supporting the business’s sales goals.
• Provide exceptional guest services by creating a welcoming atmosphere, addressing client questions, and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.
• Demonstrate product demos and educate clients on skincare routines and product benefits to foster loyalty and repeat visits.

Skills

• Needs to have a strong client base
• Proven experience as a Medical Esthetician or in a med spa setting with knowledge of advanced esthetic procedures.
• Strong management skills to handle appointment scheduling, client flow, and retail sales effectively.
• Proficiency with salon management software such as Millennium or MINDBODY for booking and record keeping.
• Excellent communication skills to educate clients clearly about treatments and skincare routines.
• Expertise in various esthetic treatments including laser therapy, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, Botox injections, body waxing, eyelash extensions, nail care, hair styling, hair extensions, tattooing, straight razor shaves, makeup application, and hair threading.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic environment.
• Ability to manage social media platforms for marketing purposes while engaging with the community online.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
• Experience in retail sales with the ability to upsell products confidently while providing honest recommendations.
