We are seeking a professional, compassionate, and highly organized Medical Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the face of our practice. This role is responsible for managing patient check-in, patient flow, scheduling, and checkout while ensuring every patient receives exceptional service and attention.
This is not a passive receptionist position. It is a responsibility-driven role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, professionalism, and a genuine passion for helping people.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Check-In & Registration

Welcome and register patients professionally and courteously

Verify demographics, insurance information, and appointment details

Collect and scan required documentation

Ensure all intake paperwork is complete and accurate

Identify and communicate insurance or registration issues promptly
Patient Experience & Clinic Flow

Monitor patient arrivals and waiting room activity
-
Communicate wait times and next steps clearly
-
Coordinate patient movement between front office and clinical staff
-
Address patient concerns professionally and escalate when appropriate

Help maintain a positive, organized, and welcoming environment
Checkout & Scheduling

Schedule followup appointments before patients leave
-
Collect copays, deductibles, and patient balances
-
Review provider recommendations and nextstep instructions
-
Process payments and maintain accurate records
-
Coordinate with billing and clinical teams as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
✔ 1+ year of experience in a medical office, healthcare reception, patient registration, or front desk role
✔ Experience with:

Patient scheduling
-
Insurance verification
-
Copay collection
-
Medical office workflows
✔ Strong computer skills and ability to learn EHR/EMR systems
✔ Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
✔ Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a multiprovider or multispecialty medical practice

Familiarity with orthopedic, pain management, neurology, neurosurgery, or chiropractic care

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Experience collecting patient payments and discussing financial responsibilities
