Position Summary:
The Receptionist provides clerical support to Physicians and Departments. This position performs office responsibilities demonstrating a commitment to professional accountability and maintenance of knowledge of the group. The Receptionist is responsible for working with other office staff and physicians. This position must reflect a high level of service and professional appearance while demonstrating high quality customer care.
Essential Skills/Responsibilities:
· Visitor Management: Greeting, checking in, and directing customers and guests to the appropriate person or department.
· Telephone Communications: Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming calls, as well as taking messages.
· Mail Distribution: Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail, deliveries, and courier packages as well as incoming faxes.
· Administrative Support: Assisting with tasks such as data entry, filing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
· Scheduling and Booking: Scheduling and setting up conference room, and ordering meals for meetings.
· Office Maintenance: Keeping the reception area, lobby, and shared office areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); AND two (2) years customer service/medical experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
