Medical Front Desk Receptionist

American Medical Wellness clinic is looking for a dynamic front desk receptionist to join our growing, fast paced office. Candidates should possess a proven history of enhancing patient experience, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Looking for a fun, hard-working self-starter who enjoys working with patients, and is committed to the continual improvement of personalized healthcare and superior service in Regenerative Medicine.

Primary responsibilities include answering phones, making appointments, greeting/checking in patients, checking out patients, processing payments, light administrative duties, patient info data entry and file maintenance, opening and closing of the office, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our patients.

Ideal candidate will have flawless phone etiquette, a professional demeanor, and the ability to establish instant rapport with our patients and team members.

Responsibilities include:

· Promptly and politely greet and direct patients

· Manage and direct all incoming phone calls

· Perform general administrative tasks (typing, copying, filing, faxing, etc.)

· Coordinate, schedule and follow up on appointments

· Contact prospective patients via phone or email and successfully book appointments

· Review and update clients’ files and charts to ensure all information is current, accurate and in compliance

· Collect necessary payments and track all patients financial plans

· Reconcile payment reports

· Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of work area, lobby and treatment spaces

Qualifications / Core Competencies:

· Minimum one (1) year front office/receptionist experience within a medical setting

· Licensed Aesthetician or Medical Assistant preferred, but not required

· Extremely proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and various scheduling systems

· Ability to perform in a positive, flexible, adaptive manner

· Must be a people lover; people instantly feel comfortable around you

· Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative

· Possess excellent organizational skills

· Ability to multi-task, anticipate needs, and prioritize accordingly for timely results

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Obsessively detail oriented and thorough

· Extremely dependable, punctual and a self-starter

· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

· Must be comfortable working independently with minimal direction, as well as within a team environment

· Business casual attire

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
