The Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) functions as a laboratory professional who assists other laboratory personnel in specimen collection, specimen receiving, specimen processing, laboratory testing, process improvement and quality initiatives.

Experience working in the clinical setting

Certification from nationally recognized agency as a phlebotomist preferred.
