Medical Lab Technician (MLT) - FT Night Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician to join our Laboratory team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment by performing laboratory tests and analyses with precision and accuracy. This position demands a strong commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in handling sophisticated laboratory equipment, preparing specimens, and accurately recording data. The Medical Lab Technician will collaborate closely with pathologists, healthcare providers, and other laboratory personnel to ensure timely and reliable test results. FT Night Shift


Responsibilities

  • Collect, prepare, and process patient specimens for laboratory analysis in accordance with established protocols.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and accuracy.
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests with precision and document results meticulously.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, reporting findings promptly to medical personnel for diagnosis and treatment decisions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, specimen handling, and test results to facilitate traceability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide timely laboratory support and consultation.
  • Two years of college with courses in biology, chemistry, and mathematics. An associate of Arts degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Any Bachelors that are not MLS/CLS, we will need a transcript. Certification/License preferred but not required.
  • Registration by the Registry Boards of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists desired.
  • One year experience as Medical Technician is desired.
