Medical Laboratory Assistant

• Sample Handling: Collect, label, sort, and process blood, urine, and other bodily fluid samples.
• Specimen Preparation: Prepare samples for analysis, which might include centrifuging or aliquoting them for technologists.
• Equipment Management: Clean, sterilize, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment, and restock supplies.
• Data & Records: Enter patient data and test results into systems, maintaining accurate records.
• Quality & Safety: Adhere strictly to safety rules (like handling hazardous chemicals) and quality control procedures.
• Support: Work with technicians, scientists, and pathologists to ensure a smooth workflow and reliable diagnostic information.
