Medical Laboratory Technician (Contract)
Location: Oregon 97216
Pay: $1,816 – $2,041/week

Schedule

• 10-hour Variable Shifts

• Nights: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (7 on / 7 off rotation)

• Evenings: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (varied days)

• Rotating schedule: 4×10s one week, 3×10s the next

• Work week runs Sunday–Saturday

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing to support patient diagnosis and treatment

• Analyze specimens, operate lab equipment, and ensure accuracy of results

• Maintain quality control, follow safety protocols, and adhere to regulatory standards

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to report and interpret findings

• Document results accurately and maintain proper lab records

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field – Required

• MLT certification (ASCP or equivalent) – Required/Preferred

• Prior clinical laboratory experience – Preferred

• State licensure (if required) – Required
