Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Panama City, FL (32405)
Shift: Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $22.66 – $30.54/hr
Shift Differentials: $1.45 Evenings | $2.50 Nights
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis

A skilled and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician is needed to join a high-acuity, full-service clinical laboratory team. This role is essential in supporting core diagnostic operations, performing a variety of tests, and ensuring accurate, timely results for patient care. Ideal candidates bring strong foundational laboratory knowledge, excellent technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. New graduates with the appropriate Florida licensure are encouraged to apply.
Perform laboratory testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, immunology, and related disciplines.
Analyze and report diagnostic results following established protocols, with timely communication of critical values.
Ensure correct specimen collection, handling, labeling, and documentation to maintain testing integrity.
Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment; perform routine quality checks.
Assist with inventory management and supply replenishment.
Maintain precise and complete documentation of results, quality metrics, and equipment maintenance.
Collaborate with clinical staff to support coordinated patient care.
Adhere to laboratory safety standards and accreditation requirements.
Medical laboratory experience preferred; strong clinical foundations will also be considered.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
Certification required: MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT.
Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technician license (current or application submitted).
Strong preference for candidates with completed clinical rotations or prior lab support experience.
