Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory within the UAE and hold a valid MLT license issued by the relevant health authority DHA

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in compliance with CAP standards and internal quality protocols.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and efficient reporting of test results.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Follow proper procedures for specimen collection, labeling, processing, and storage.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance and control activities.
• Comply with infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
• Participate in internal and external audits as part of the CAP accreditation process.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay updated with new technologies and procedures relevant to medical laboratory science.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in a CAP-accredited laboratory (mandatory).
• Valid UAE MLT license (DHA — as required for the facility).
• Strong understanding of CAP accreditation standards and quality systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Histopathology.
• Familiarity with LIS (Laboratory Information Systems).
• Participation in lab audits and inspections.
