Medical Office Assistant

We are looking for a warm, dependable, detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant team member to support our Nurse Practitioners and help create an excellent patient experience.

What You’ll Do

This role includes both operations and clinical support responsibilities, including:

  • Answering phones and patient portal messages
  • Greeting and scheduling patients
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Supporting Nurse Practitioners with patient flow
  • Rooming patients and taking vitals
  • Drawing labs and collecting specimens, as trained
  • Giving injections, including nutrient or weight management injections, only with proper training, competency, provider order, and office protocol
  • Preparing and tracking FMLA, disability, and other patient paperwork for provider review
  • Assisting with referrals, records, forms, and follow-up tasks
  • Maintaining clean, stocked, and organized clinical areas
  • Helping with other office duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is professional, kind, organized, and comfortable working in both administrative and patient-care support roles. You should enjoy helping people, communicating clearly, and being part of a collaborative healthcare team of mental health therapists and nurse practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical office, front desk, or clinical support experience
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Injection experience preferred
  • Experience with EHR systems and patient portals
  • Strong phone, documentation, and customer service skills
  • BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
