Friends Foundation is a dedicated national organization committed to improving the lives of deprived communities across Pakistan by providing essential services, including accessible and quality healthcare. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Women Medical Officer (WMO)and Supervisor to lead our primary healthcare services at one of our vital medical centers in Rawalpindi. The Women Medical Officer will hold a combined role focusing on comprehensive clinical service delivery and team supervision/administration.Location: Mohan Pura, Mohalla Raja Sultan and Akal Garh, Rawalpindi, Pakistan Job Type: Full-time Timing: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

I. Clinical & OPD Services

  • Provide thorough Consultation and Outpatient Department (OPD) services to the community.
  • Deliver essential medical services, including resuscitation, stabilization, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
  • Recommend and, where appropriate, undertake various treatment options, interventions, and procedures, including prescribing and general practice procedures.
  • Provide health counselling and lead awareness-raising initiatives on critical health issues within the community.
  • Share in Lab & Ultrasound interpretation and reporting duties.
  • Actively participate in meetings as required by the management.

II. Supervisory & Administrative Leadership

The WMO will act as the team lead for the Primary Medical Center:

  • Lead the paramedic team and provide direct supervision and mentorship to nurses and paramedical staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Coordinate daily clinical operations, including managing staff duty rosters and optimizing patient flow.
  • Monitor and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and continuous improvement protocols (e.g., adherence to Minimum Service Delivery Standards).
  • Facilitate training and development programs for the clinical team.
  • Manage logistics, ensuring the adequate stock of essential medicines/equipment.
  • Oversee financial compliance related to patient services.
  • Represent the Medical Center in community outreach and public health initiatives.
  • Education: M.B.B.S degree from a recognized institution.
  • Registration: Must possess a valid PMDC/PMC registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a primary health center or relevant clinical setting is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 per month
