Medical Officer – Cardiology
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac and cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct patient examinations, review medical histories, and develop treatment plans.
- Assist consultants and specialists in cardiac procedures and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to medical emergencies as required.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs, echocardiograms, and laboratory results.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and clinical documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, clinical protocols, and healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health, treatment plans, and preventive care.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the relevant medical council.
- Valid medical license/registration.
- Completion of house job/internship from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in cardiology or internal medicine will be preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
