Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Medical Officer, Histopathology, a section of Clinical Laboratory.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

• perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures as per Laboratory protocols
• interpret laboratory reports and communicate with patients, explaining their reports
• communicate with staff on reception and within laboratory about patient procedures
• strictly adhere to safety regulations and quality control procedures.

Requirements

You should have:

• an MBBS degree. Additional diploma in relevant field will be preferred
• one to three years post-MBBS related experience, including one year house job
• previous laboratory experience would be preferred
• strong interpersonal and communication skills
• an ability to work under pressure
• strong administrative and organizational skills.
