Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
- Monitor patients' clinical status and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Assist in the management of ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients.
- Perform and assist with critical care procedures as required.
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and patient monitoring data.
- Participate in daily ICU rounds and develop patient management plans in collaboration with consultants.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans and patient progress.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the relevant medical council.
- Valid PMDC/PMC registration or equivalent professional license.
- Completion of house job/internship from a recognized institution.
- Experience in ICU, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, or Emergency Medicine will be preferred.
- Certification in BLS and ACLS is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
