Location: Port Qasim, Karachi

Job Purpose

The Medical Officer will lead and supervise the Company’s on-site 24/7 Medical Unit, ensuring the provision of high-quality medical consultancy, primary healthcare, and emergency response for employees and contract staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site medical consultancy and primary healthcare to employees and contract staff.
• Lead and manage a team of five medical staff:
• 03 Paramedics/Medics (rotational shifts)
• 01 Medical Officer (general shift)
• 01 Female Nurse (general shift)
• Ensure 24/7 readiness of the Company’s ambulance and emergency response system.
• Conduct and certify:
• Pre-employment medical fitness assessments
• Annual health check-ups
• Periodic health screenings (as per law/company policy)
• Verify and endorse staff OPD claims in line with company policy and cost-control measures.
• Drive the Company’s Health, Hygiene & Well-Being agenda, including:
• Preventive health awareness sessions
• Workplace health campaigns
• Compliance with occupational health and safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: MBBS from an HEC-recognized university (PMC registered).
• Experience: 5–8 years in clinical practice, occupational health, or industrial healthcare (preferably with large organizations).
• Skills:
• Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic ability
• Emergency and first-aid management expertise
• Leadership and team supervision skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
