Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management:Greet and assist patients, visitors, and medical professionals, providing information about the hospital and its services.
- Appointment Scheduling:Manage appointments for doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring smooth patient flow.
- Communication:Answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls, and handle patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Administrative Tasks:Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining front desk records.
- Information Provision:Provide clear and accurate information about hospital procedures, services, and directions to facilities.
- Patient Comfort:Ensure the waiting area is organized and welcoming for patients and their families.
- Equipment Management:Monitor and ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment at the front desk.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent (10+2) is typically the minimum requirement.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
- Organizational Skills:Strong ability to multitask, manage multiple responsibilities, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Computer Proficiency:Ability to use basic office software, including word processors, spreadsheets, and email systems.
- Customer Service:A calm, empathetic, and professional demeanor, with strong active listening skills.
- Attention to Detail:Crucial for accurate record-keeping and appointment management.
