- Greet patients, visitors, and attendants in a warm and professional manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient details accurately in the hospital system.
- Schedule and manage doctor appointments and consultation slots.
- Answer telephone calls, provide information, and transfer calls to respective departments.
- Collect consultation fees and generate bills or receipts as per hospital policy.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and diagnostic departments for smooth patient flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Handle patient queries, feedback, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records and hospital information at all times.
- Assist in administrative tasks assigned by the Front Office Manager or Hospital Administrator.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum qualification: PUC / Diploma / Graduate (any stream).
- 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
- Good communication skills in English and local language (Kannada, Hindi, etc.).
- Pleasant personality and professional appearance.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with hospital management software.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
