KIDS Hospital is seeking a dynamic and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting and possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients politely and assist with registration.
  • Verify patient details and update information in the hospital software.
  • Answer patient enquiries and guide them to the appropriate department.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments based on doctor availability.
  • Manage patient flow to avoid crowding at the reception area.
  • Generate OPD, lab, radiology, and procedure bills.
  • Collect cash/UPI/card payments and issue receipts accurately.
  • Maintain daily cash collection summary and hand it over to the finance/accounts team.
  • Maintain reception-related registers such as visitor register, enquiry register, and cash register.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, lab, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
  • Handle internal calls and provide timely information to departments.
  • Assist in emergency situations by immediately informing the emergency department.
  • Keep the reception and waiting area clean and organized.
  • Make follow-up calls for reports, appointments, and patient feedback if required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality as per hospital protocols.
  • Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional behavior.
  • Work in rotational shifts as per hospital schedule.
  • Cooperate with Ayushman/insurance desk tasks if assigned.
  • Support report dispatch and answer telephonic enquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital front office role
  • Proficient in MS Office and hospital software systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
