Medical Receptionist

Busy Prosthetic and Orthotic company looking to fill receptionist position. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to staff as well as maintaining high-quality care for patients.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variant of highly detailed data entry related functions.
  • Coordinate multiple practitioners and multiple offices
  • Maintain stock between offices
  • Dispatching and prioritizing urgent orders and scheduling routine appointments for our patients. As well as outpatient schedules for hospitals and nursing homes.
  • Answering a high volume of calls.
  • Heavy data entry


Requirements for prospective employees:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Must be confident and comfortable on the phone
  • Working knowledge of computers and ability to manage data within an electronic system.
  • Can handle a fast-paced office environment.
  • Organizational & multi-tasking skills
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Self-starter


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual or multilingual (fluency in Spanish is a major plus)
  • 1+ years of prior experience as a medical receptionist or similar role
  • Hands on experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Experience with medical insurance processes
