Medical Receptionist/Assistant

The Foot and Ankle Care Center is a general podiatric medical and surgical office that has offices in Hernando and Citrus counties and has been servicing the community for 40 years. We offer educational opportunities, x-ray certification, and room for growth. Our benefit package includes paid time off and 401K profit sharing after one year. We are looking to add a medical assistant/receptionist to our team. This team member would provide administrative support to ensure optimum patient workflow and quality patient care. The main objectives of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Verifying insurance benefits, deductibles and co payments and collecting at time of visit

- Answering telephone calls, responding to emails

- Scheduling in-office appointments and outpatient surgeries

- Registering patients, enter patient demographics into electronic health record

-Rooming patients

-Obtaining medical history

- Must have at least 1 year insurance verification experience

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
