Medical Records Manager - CON

The Medical Records Manager will be responsible for overseeing the hospital’s medical records department, ensuring accurate, secure, and confidential management of patient health information. The role involves supervising staff, maintaining compliance with UAE healthcare regulations (DOH/DHA/MOH), implementing policies for efficient records management, and supporting digital health record systems.


  • Oversee the collection, storage, and retrieval of patient medical records in compliance with hospital policies and UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure confidentiality, security, and accuracy of all health information.
  • Supervise and train medical records staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Implement and manage electronic medical records (EMR/HIS) systems, ensuring smooth data entry and retrieval.
  • Audit records regularly for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with DOH/DHA standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and administrative teams to provide timely access to patient records when required.
  • Prepare reports, statistics, and data analysis to support hospital operations and decision-making.
  • Manage requests for release of medical information in line with hospital policy and legal requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and staff training in records management best practices.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Medical Records, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in medical records or health information management, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations (DOH, DHA, MOH).
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic an advantage).
