Medical Sales Representative

About the Company

We are seeking a high-energy Sales Professional to represent our specialized spine and orthopedic portfolio within the vibrant Palm Beach County medical community. This role is uniquely focused on physician offices and outpatient clinics, allowing you to work closely with providers to enhance patient recovery through advanced clinical solutions.

About the Role

We are looking for a "Clinical Closer"—someone who can navigate a high-end medical office with professional polish and deep technical knowledge. Whether you are an experienced DME Sales Rep or a Physical Therapist (PT) looking to transition into a high-earning corporate role, this position provides the W2 structure and uncapped financial upside you need to thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Physician Partnership: Develop and manage relationships with top-tier neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, and pain management specialists throughout Palm Beach County.
  • Clinical Consultation: Provide expert guidance on spine anatomy and DME applications, ensuring patients receive the most effective solutions for their specific pathologies.
  • Territory Growth: Identify and convert new business opportunities within the region’s prestigious private practices and health systems (e.g., Baptist Health, Tenet, HCA Florida).
  • In-Office Education: Lead "Lunch & Learns" and technical in-services for doctors and clinical staff to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Patient Outcomes: Coordinate the fitting and delivery of orthopedic solutions, focusing on patient compliance and high-quality recovery results.

Qualifications

  • Background (One of the following is required):
  • Medical Sales: 1–3 years of success in Spine, Orthopedics, or Medical Device sales.
  • DME Experience: A proven track record of selling Durable Medical Equipment into physician offices.
  • Physical Therapy: A licensed PT or DPT with a focus on spine rehab and a desire to pivot into a high-stakes commercial environment.
  • Location: Must reside in or near Palm Beach County and possess a strong network within the local medical community.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to discuss spinal mechanics ($L$-spine, $C$-spine) and clinical data with specialized physicians.
  • Attributes: High emotional intelligence, professional appearance, and a "hunter" mindset for territory development.

Required Skills

Exceptional ability to discuss spinal mechanics and clinical data with specialized physicians.

Preferred Skills

High emotional intelligence, professional appearance, and a "hunter" mindset for territory development.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Earnings: Target first-year OTE of $120,000 – $150,000 through a combination of a solid base salary and monthly uncapped commissions.
  • Full Benefits: Comprehensive W2 package including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Future Planning: 401(k) retirement plan with a dedicated company match.
  • Allowances: Robust monthly car allowance, gas card, and company-issued technology (laptop/iPhone).
  • Time Off: Generous PTO policy, including paid holidays and personal days.

Equal Opportunity Statement:

With a high concentration of affluent patient populations and world-class surgical groups, Palm Beach County is one of the most lucrative medical sales territories in the country. This role offers the professional satisfaction of a clinical career with the financial rewards of the medical device industry.

Note to PT/DPT Applicants: Your clinical credibility is your greatest asset in South Florida. Your ability to talk "peer-to-peer" with a surgeon about patient biomechanics is more valuable than any sales pitch. We provide the corporate training; you provide the clinical expertise and local network.
