Position Overview *SALARY + COMMISSION*
The Medical Sales Specialist is responsible for generating new client referrals and building strategic relationships with:
- Case managers
- Hospitals & discharge planners
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Rehab centers
- Physician offices
- Assisted living communities
- Community organizations
- Long-term care insurance representatives
This role focuses on increasing:
- Medicaid Waiver admissions (CCSP, SOURCE, ICWP, GAPP)
- Private Pay clients
- Long-Term Care Insurance clients
This position offers a base salary plus commission, with strong earning potential based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships across assigned territories
- Conduct in-person visits to hospitals, facilities, and case managers
- Present company services professionally and confidently
- Track leads and follow up consistently
- Convert referrals into active clients
- Educate community partners on Medicaid Waiver programs
- Attend networking events and community outreach events
- Meet or exceed monthly referral and census growth goals
- Maintain CRM or referral tracking system
- Report weekly sales activity and pipeline updates
Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in medical sales, home health, hospice, or healthcare marketing preferred
- Strong understanding of Medicaid Waiver programs (preferred but not required)
- Experience selling to hospitals, case managers, or LTC facilities strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Ability to build long-term professional relationships
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $44,800.00 - $63,300.00 per year
