JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe to support our clinical staff and providers (Two Physicians, Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner) in providing high-quality patient care. Our ideal candidate has prior experience in a clinical orthopedic or similar setting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately observing and transcribing patient encounters and examinations
• Efficiently utilizing EMR software (Modernizing Medicine) to document patient history, diagnoses and treatment plan
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Assisting with clinical tasks such as answering phone calls, reviewing and updating patient records, preparing injections and any additional clinical prep
• Effectively work with other members of the staff to facilitate a productive clinic day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00

Medical Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery/Sports Medicine

Schedule:

• Full-time: Monday - Friday
• Day shift
• No nights
• No weekends

Education: High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Medical Assisting: 1 year (preferred)
• EMR systems: 1 year (required)
