Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, capturing symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and physician observations with accuracy and speed
• Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to input, update, and manage patient information securely
• Assist healthcare providers by preparing documentation related to medical histories, physical examinations, and procedural notes
• Ensure all medical documentation adheres to regulatory standards and policies for confidentiality.
• Support the maintenance of organized medical records, including lab results, imaging reports, and referral letters
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information
• Perform transcription tasks efficiently using typing skills while maintaining high levels of attention to detail

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a medical office setting or as a Medical Scribe is preferred
• Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical documentation software
• Excellent transcription skills with fast typing speed and high accuracy
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
• Knowledge of medical records management and healthcare compliance standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced clinical settings
• Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation protocols
