About the Role

The Medical Scribe plays a vital role in enhancing physician efficiency and patient care by delivering accurate, real-time documentation. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Working closely with the physician and clinical teams, the Medical Scribe ensures comprehensive and timely electronic medical records, enabling the physician to focus entirely on patient care.

We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington . This full-time, onsite position working Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM schedule, with a required degree of flexibility to meet patient and clinic needs. Opportunities are available in Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, and Tacoma.

Key Responsibilities

• Accompany the physician to various medical offices and clinical locations during patient rounds.
• Document all patient-physician interactions in real-time into the electronic medical record (EMR), including pertinent medical history, physical exam and assessments, treatment plans, and orders and follow-up instructions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all medical documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Review and organize prior medical records and test results as needed to support physician workflow.
• Assist with clerical duties such as locating diagnostic results, preparing charts, and coordinating follow-up communications as directed by the physician.
• Act as a liaison between the physician and office staff to ensure smooth transitions between appointments and locations.
• Stay current on medical terminology, clinical procedures, and EHR updates relevant to the physician’s specialty.
• Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college-level coursework or degree in healthcare-related field strongly preferred.
• Experience : 
• Prior experience as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or in a clinical documentation role is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
• Excellent listening and typing skills; ability to transcribe detailed medical information quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EMR) systems preferred.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $25.00 (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
