Medical Scribe

*Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters, ensuring that all medical information is recorded in real-time. Responsibilities include accurately recording patient histories, exam details, and treatment procedures in electronic health records (EHR) systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, and a strong understanding of medical terminology. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality medical records and facilitating effective communication within the medical office environment.

*Responsibilities*

- Accurately transcribe medical documentation of patient visits, including history, physical examinations, and treatment plans.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records in accordance with established protocols.

- Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient interactions in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and confidentiality regulations.

- Collaborate with medical staff to improve workflow efficiency and enhance patient care.

- Stay informed about anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to support accurate documentation.

*Skills*

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand medical documentation requirements.

- Familiarity with procedures and protocols is a plus.

- Proficient in medical terminology to ensure accurate transcription of patient information.

- Ability to efficiently type and transcribe detailed notes.

- Knowledge of medical documentation standards and practices.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
