Reno Orthopedic Center wants you to join the team as a Medical Scribe! We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team member to directly update patient's electronic records and ensure their history is correct. You are essential to facilitating detailed and precise patient electronic records at our Main location - 555 N Arlington Ave

What would you do as a Medical Scribe?

The Medical Scribe is responsible for working with our doctors to ensure accurate patient records. You can expect to regularly:

• Transcribe the patient’s history, physical exam findings, consultations, labs, X-rays, and other evaluations into the electronic medical record with accuracy and efficiency during patient visit;
• Rectify mistakes or inconsistencies in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Input accurate charges into patient’s electronic medical record.
• Ensure the presence of medical scribe in patient exam room does not detract from provider’s treatment of patient.

Certifications/Educations:

• High School Diploma

Knowledge of:

• Human anatomy and terminology;
• HIPAA regulations and procedures;

Experience:

• Communicating effectively in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?

• Experience using electronic medical records systems such as Epic.
