Medical Scribe

DUTIES:

Applicants must have previous medical scribe experience, familiarity with EHR systems (NextGen a plus), as well as excellent typing, spelling and medical terminology skills and knowledge. You will be documenting in the patients’ electronic health record as the physician meets with the patient. Other relevant duties may also be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualified candidates must have excellent people and telephone skills and be familiar with medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding, knowledge of HMOs, PPOs and various insurance plans. You must have excellent typing and math skills, ten key by touch and enjoy a fast-paced work environment. NextGen EPM/EMR experience is A+.
