Medical Scribe

Full Time ophthalmic scribe needed for busy ophthalmic practice in Edmond. Great company to work for with a competitive benefit package.

Certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities include accompany physician into the patient examination room in order to transcribe a history and physical exam, and document accurately the physician’s encounter with the patient and others present. List all proper diagnoses and symptoms as well as follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the physician. Transcribe patient orders including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc and document any procedures performed by the physician. This position will also handle refill and prior authorization requests for medications.

One year medical office experience required.

Ophthalmic and EHR experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
