Tri- Valley Orthopedic Specialists, Inc is a full comprehensive, multi-specialty, state-of-the-art orthopedic practice providing high level services to the community in Pleasanton, San Ramon and Tracy with X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, Ortho Tech department, DME, Physical and Occupational Therapy on site. We are seeking knowledgeable, reliable and mature candidates with a positive demeanor for a part time/ per diem Medical Scribe position to assist 1 of our busy and fast paced Orthopedic Hand surgeon. The candidate will be responsible for accompanying providers into the exam rooms and documenting accurate and detailed information during the patient visits, provide the highest quality of customer service to patients, must exhibit excellent listening skills and focus, ability to work calmly under pressure and adhere to our practice’ protocols and policies.

• A college degree, or interest in enrollment in a degree program such as MD, DO, PA, NP, RN and able to balance school and work.
• Excellent computer and typing skills are a must. Should be able to type at minimum 45wpm
• Impeccable verbal, written and interpersonal skills, attention to detail a must
• Ability to multi-task in a high patient volume environment
• Experience/familiarity with medical terminology, CPT and ICD10 codes
• A constitution to work under the rigors of delivering the highest level of medical care to our patients.
• A responsible and mature individual with a passion for medicine and helping others.
• Must have electronic medical records experience. Athena experience a plus.
• Experience in Orthopedics a plus.
• Spanish speaking a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
