Medical Scribe

Medical Scribe will be assisting our Pulmonary and Critical Care Specialists in the ICU's of several local hospitals. This position requires for the scribe to create notes for the doctors under the hospital's Electronic Medical Records (EMR) while they are evaluating their patients.

This is a full-time role consisting of 12-hour shifts. Open availability Monday–Sunday is required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· High school diploma or GED required

· At least 2 years of college required

· Medical terminology knowledge required

· Fast typing skills

· Attention to detail

· Excellent computer skills

· Ability to be discreet and maintain the security of patient or customer information

· Understanding of industry-specific policies, such as HIPAA regulations for health care

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
