Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe and Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and assisting with clinical and administrative tasks. Your energetic approach will help ensure smooth clinic operations and enhance patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe detailed medical notes during patient examinations using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems with precision and speed
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients, and supporting minor procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations
• Manage medical documentation, including histories, physicals, and treatment plans, utilizing your knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Support the front desk by scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing paperwork
• Ensure all medical records are up-to-date and properly filed for easy retrieval
• Demonstrate proficiency in typing and transcription to facilitate efficient documentation

Experience

• Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of ECW a PLUS!!!
• Must be bi-lingual - English/Spanish
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical records management is essential
• Experience with transcription or medical documentation will be advantageous
• Emergency room experience or exposure to acute care environments is a plus
• Strong typing skills to support rapid and accurate documentation
• Must be able to travel between our Coral Gables and Hollywood locations

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
