Summary / Objective
Regenerative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (ROSM) is seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals pursuing a career in medicine to join our team as a full-time Medical Assistant / Medical Scribe. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or aspiring healthcare professionals to gain hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room and triage patients, ensuring accurate intake and documentation
  • Phlebotomy and Injections
  • Provide medical scribing support and maintain electronic health records (ATHENA)
  • Assist providers with technical, hands-on clinical support, including applying casts, splints, and durable medical equipment
  • Maintain exam rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness
  • Collaborate effectively with front desk staff, medical assistants, and other departments

Education & Experience

  • Recent Medical Assistant graduates or pre-med graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates without MA certification are welcome (Associate’s degree or higher required); ROSM will provide training and facilitate registration
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) preferred
  • Typing speed of 80–100 WPM strongly preferred
  • General medical assisting experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience is a plus (training available)
  • Working knowledge of the musculoskeletal system is a plus

Work Environment

This role operates in a clinical setting and involves routine exposure to healthcare-related conditions, including patient care environments, medical equipment, and standard clinical materials. Daily use of office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers is required.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent standing, walking, and patient interaction
  • Occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity for close detail work and computer use

Schedule

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with hours based on patient scheduling needs.

Travel

Occasional travel between clinic locations may be required.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
