We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Technician (Med Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to providing high-quality care to our residents while promoting their dignity and independence.

Position Summary

The Medical Technician is responsible for medication administration, monitoring resident health conditions, and ensuring accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and facility policies. This position works closely with caregivers, physicians, pharmacies, and families to support resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered
• Accurately document medication administration on MARs
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, blood sugar if applicable)
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical, emotional, or mental condition
• Coordinate medication refills with pharmacies
• Maintain organized, locked, and compliant medication carts
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Respond appropriately to emergencies
• Follow infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

• Current Medication Technician / Medication Aide certification (per state requirements)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience in assisted living or residential care preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and resident-centered mindset
