Responsible for training and enhancing the competencies of our medical staff (including medical and Para medical staff). You will be planning, implementing and supervising training programs and workshops in a way that is interesting and useful to our medical staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement. Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures. Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner.
Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers Review the training programs developed by Training Specialist to fulfill staff specific needs to maintain or improve job skills. Create and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials. Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos. Supervise and Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback. Build quarterly and annual detailed performance report and submit to training Director. Assess training materials prepared by instructors. Provide all the technical and supply training requirements to maintain the effectiveness of the training.
Encourage medical staff for training and track their success and progress. Communicate with concern head of departments with all training programs on a timely basis. Mentor and guide junior training staff, providing support and constructive feedback.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
4 years of experience in hospital education and continuous training. 4 years of experience with designing training programs and workshops. Knowledge about accreditation processes, quality assurance in healthcare training, and the specific requirements of professional bodies like the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Knowledge of various training and teaching methods. Excellent decision making and organizational skills. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills. Team player. Good time-management skills. Great interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates familiarity with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, Heath administration or Nursing.
Knowledge and practical skills in Institutional & programs accreditations from SCFHS. Ability to design and implement effective training and development. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Good communication skills in Arabic and English (verbal and written). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records. Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
