Medical Transcriptionist

Nayab Labs & Diagnostic Centre is seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe and edit laboratory test reports, radiology findings, and physician notes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical and laboratory terminology, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver error-free reports within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transcribe dictated or handwritten laboratory test results and reports into digital format.
• Review, proofread, and correct transcriptions for accuracy and consistency.
• Ensure proper use of laboratory and diagnostic terminology.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow data protection protocols.
• Coordinate with lab technologists and consultants for clarifications when needed.
• Deliver accurate and timely reports for patient records and client submission.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in medical transcription, medical laboratory technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in medical or laboratory transcription.
• Strong knowledge of clinical and laboratory test names.
• Excellent English comprehension and typing speed.
• Familiarity with MS Office and transcription tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
