Transcriptionist - 3 Month Locum

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Transcriptionist with hands-on experience in ECHO and Ultrasound reporting. The ideal candidate must be accurate, detail-oriented, and able to support fast-paced diagnostic services on a 3-month locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately transcribe ECHO and Ultrasound findings into structured medical reports.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness of all transcribed reports.
• Coordinate with doctors and sonographers for any clarifications or report finalization.
• Maintain and organize patient records and reports in the hospital system.
• Review and verify data for grammar, formatting, and medical terminology consistency.
• Support in maintaining TAT (Turnaround Time) for reports to ensure timely delivery to patients.
• Adhere to departmental policies, confidentiality standards, and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements:

• Intermediate/Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in transcription (Radiology/Cardiology).
• Strong knowledge of ECHO & Ultrasound terms.
• Excellent typing speed & accuracy.
• Familiar with hospital/diagnostic reporting systems.
